First off, she came ova, and we were just chillaxin when we decided to have a baking fest. Soooo....off to Safeway we go! We came home, and started the baking.

Yes, oh yes! Today my friends, was the first day of rain, it may not have been very much, but it was enough of a foreshadowing of whats to come in the following months.

Ballerina Won't You Show Me Yo Mooooves

I was awaitin' the arrival of my friend Ryan for his birthday dinner at BJ's, and this family comes out. There were two little girls. They danced their little hearts out as if they were their favorite, Hannah Montana. Jumping all over, a pirouette left and right. It made me wish I could just be that free again.

So tonight (last night) was Kayla Schureman's last performance with All on Seven, seeing as she's taking her major skillage and using them down South at M.I.
We made a stop at Sanad's for some Falafel and Hummus. And a few drinks at True Love.


We drive on over to Java Lounge. Chillax a bit.

Olivehurst

There once lived a little girl who would rise far before the sun.


She enjoyed her tiny lunches full of joy in every bite.


She often walks around places she doesn't know, just searching for another human she may understand. Meanwhile, she keeps walking, and standing, and sitting and looking, and searching, and smiling.


Did I meantion she often tries to fly...but merely falls to her disbelief that her wings just won't flap fast enough to take her high into the next world.


Oh Kenny... she only dreams he would come back to those days of the bull fighting.

Oh Mosey. He has a new best friend. His name is Chad. Every time he walks out that door, that darn cat sits about an inch away from the door until he walks back in that door, usually getting crushed as the door comes swinging open.

Just a day

So I was driving behind this guy, going like 95 down Madison, when he gets onto 80. His poor dog, ears and tail flapping rapidly, was just chillin in the back of his car, feeling free as can be.


I was sitting, on my way to True Love, when I decided not to take a chance on my life and run the train signal, and wait instead....it just happened to be the longest train in history. And I thought about it, as I was sitting there on 19th and J, wondering what other kind of people were just sitting there at this same street, 19th, but different intersections, and what they were thinking about.


Another chair from True Love Coffee. Every time I go, they seem to have a new chair.


Just reading some Miranda, waiting for the time to go by to leave for my next photo shoot. And then the cool coffee guy, Eric comes and we have a nice chat about L.A., music, and photography. Bleh.

El Dorado Hills Rec Lightning

So I did a photo shoot about a week ago, in El Dorado Hills, and I was doing the team photos and I got this out of the kids, they were an uber fun bunch!
Our production team (I.E. Denis) usually doesn't like to upload those weird, or silly photos, but he put it up!

I am seriously tempted to start a photo blog of graffiti in the bathrooms at American River College. Its quite an art form.

Miranda Series 2

So I got bored today, like usual, and was standing in my hallway. I decided to break out my camera, and just start clicking away, and this is the outcome..

And yes, I know its very dark.. but oh well, its just for fun.

Sanad's, Falafel, Iced Lattes and Italian Sodas, and (last but not least) Art.

So everything we do now a'days revolves around either:
Photography and photo shoots, art as a media, FOOD, Italia, Downtown Sacramento, music, coffee and tea, and early mornings.

Today consisted of coffee, study time (mostly Shanny), falafel (surprisingly no baklava), and a speedy drive to school so Shannon doesnt miss the test she was studying so hard for and lost track of time doing-so.

And then we realized how quickly time flew by, and I quickly raced on down 16th st to get her to her test on-time.

The woman is Miranda July, and we are basically obsessed with her and the way she thinks. We were out on a photo shoot the other day, and decided to mediocre-like re-create the video in photo form.

Aaaaaaaand....this is our interpretation of Miss July's artistic genius. (Its obviously not as legit and creative, we know this.)

So, we enjoy getting our fancy dresses, and going down to the nearest do-it-yourself car wash. At least now it is, seeing as this was our first time.
There was also a guy in the next stall over, probably wondering what asylum we escaped from.

Its a monster!
